The YouTube hole

My wife loves her cable TV, others have Netflix, for me it’s YouTube. We live in the age of binge watching where content is at our fingertips, oftentimes it’s easy to get sucked into the dark hole of YouTube I like to call it. Where one video rolls into another, than another. If you are like me you know this hole all too well. What started as one short seven minute video turns into a half hour or hours of nonstop videos. The click of the next video is like a shot of dopamine where a next video is on it’s way, trying to not get sucked into a whirlwind when I click on the red button with a white triangle on my home screen of my phone. I make a note to at least be doing something while I watch such as rolling out on my foam roller, some strectching, rehab or core exercise or doing the dishes. Finally Youtube is my "pain cave killer" as I like to call it, watching while on my bike trainer, getting me through the longer rides.

What I watch:

OTHER:

There are many others I tune into as well, but these are the ones at the top of my list these days as I use their vlogs for information, inspiration and entertainment.
